The questions most frequently asked by patients are answered in simple language here.
Q. What do you mean when you say I have an atlas subluxation?
A. The atlas is the top vertebra (spinal bone) of the spinal column. If it moves out of its normal position (misaligns), it causes damage to nerve structures, bodily distortions, produces spinal column imbalance, spastic contracture of the extensor muscles, and a contractured (short) leg.
